Learning about modern teaching methods and developing teaching skills
About the course
The course on teaching methodology is designed to develop teaching/pedagogical skills that contribute to more effective teaching and learning. Our research experience shows that the transfer of highly valued skills to students, which are possessed by teachers, cannot be effective in the absence of these skills. The training also prepares students for the complex challenges of teaching and learning, as well as for conflict situations and their management. The course will focus on the pedagogical-methodological skills needed to carry out teaching tasks and on the role of the teacher.
The aim of the course is to enhance the student's learning and the instructor's teaching experience, and to make the instructor a partner in the teaching-learning process. To this end, the course will introduce participants to new learning paradigms and teaching methods, which they will be able to apply in their daily teaching activities. The course builds on the participants' autonomy and peer learning, and also provides an opportunity to put theoretical knowledge into practice. We welcome trainers who are keen to develop their skills.
